Land & Property Contract Disputes

Contracts which relate to land are entered into for many different purposes.

For instance you may enter into a Contract to Buy or Sell a Property; or you may enter into an Agreement for the Lease of a property to commence in the future. Developers and Landowners may enter into Pre-emption Agreements or Option Agreements in relation to certain areas of land which they may hope to acquire in the future.

Sometimes Disputes may arise in relation to the contracts, for example:

  1. The other party may fail to complete on the Sale or Purchase of a Property
  2. The seller may have made a misrepresentation about the property you purchased
  3. The other party may fail to comply with their obligations under a Pre-emption or Option Agreement.
