If you feel you have been let down following medical treatment, I can investigate what happened to you and whether there is the possibility of bringing a clinical negligence claim on your behalf.  My aim is to try and put your life back on track and ensure cases are investigated thoroughly. Throughout my career I’ve dealt with a number of cases involving the death of loved ones, these cases can often be difficult as families are grieving and are often angry that the death could have been avoided. My aim in these cases is to ensure that questions are answered and that those left behind are supported. I also work alongside Martin Hood, Deputy Head of Department, assisting and supporting clients and their families in cases where a client has suffered head or brain damage as a result of medical negligence, including where injury may have tragically occurred at birth. My highest settlement to date was in excess of £1m. It made an enormous difference to the life of an autistic young person who lost the support of his mother who sadly passed away due to medical negligence.

A little about me

I’m passionate about Medical Negligence and committed to helping clients and their families during what is likely to be the most difficult time of their lives. These cases can be complex and lengthy, often taking several years to reach a conclusion. My role in this is to ensure that clients feel they are listened to and that they are kept up to date regarding their case. Many of my clients will feel nervous about trusting professionals after being let down previously, this is completely understandable and I’ll do everything possible to ensure that they are supported throughout the process.

My experience

I specialise in Clinical Negligence and have been in the Department since 2013, qualifying as a Chartered Legal Executive in 2015. I have experience in dealing with a wide range of cases to include orthopaedic, amputation, gynaecological injury, delayed diagnosis and treatment of cancer, cases where clients have sadly passed away as a result of negligence and cases with long lasting consequences for clients.

In my spare time I enjoy reading, learning about the environment, going to the theatre and travelling.
