I specialise in Medical Negligence and have experience in a wide range of cases from modest value to multi-million pound cerebral palsy and head injury claims. My caseload consists of claims relating to orthopaedic injuries including cauda equina, gynaecological injury, delay in diagnosis of cancer, extravasation injuries and cardiology. I also deal with death cases that have arisen as a result of negligent medical treatment.

I assist Stephen Lewis, Associate Director, on a day-to-day basis with claims involving head or brain injury, occurring either at birth or later in life as a result of medical negligence.

A little about me

I am passionate about Medical Negligence and strive to reach the best possible outcome for all of my clients as each one is important, notwithstanding the value of their individual claims.

All of my clients have their own reasons for pursuing a medical negligence claim and these are always at the forefront of my mind. Making a difference to an individual or their family is important to me. I am sympathetic to their needs and that of their family and endeavour to do my best to get the answers that they want. This may be by way of a response to a complaint, apology or more commonly recompense by way of compensation.

Outside work, I spend quality time with my husband and young son. I also enjoy going to the gym when I can get there!

My experience

I began my working life with the firm in 1989. I have worked in the Medical Negligence department since it was set up over 20 years ago and during that time, I have gained a wealth of on-the-job experience which has assisted me in becoming a Litigation Executive.
