I am a COP Executive in the Court of Protection Team. I support the Head of Department / Deputy with day-to-day responsibilities which range from making lay deputy applications to the Court, meeting with clients and their families, case managers and supports workers, financial advisors and many other organisations. I assist with every day lifestyle choices and decisions, working in a client’s best interests at all times to ensure a positive outcome is reached..
A little about me.
In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family and my dog. We enjoy going on walks together and experiencing the great outdoors. I am quite adventurous and have in fact flown a gyroplane. An unusual fact about me is my obsession with cows and the fact that I find them to be amazing, beautiful animals.
The favourite part of my job is striving to make a positive difference to a persons’ life and ensure their needs are met on a daily basis.
My experience.
I am a Court of Protection Executive with over 10 years experience in this particular area of law. I work with clients living with dementia and Alzheimer’s. I also deal with clients who have suffered brain injuries whether that be at birth or as a result of negligence or accidents. I actively engage with family members and case managers in my role and endeavour to make a positive difference to my clients and thoroughly enjoy learning more about their needs.
