I am a Senior Associate and Medical Negligence Solicitor at Jackson Lees and have over 23 years of specialist experience investigating and pursuing complex clinical negligence claims on behalf of Claimants. My cases include birth and brain injuries, strokes, spinal injuries, delays in diagnosis of cancer and other conditions, bladder and bowel injuries, orthopaedic claims and fatal claims.  I am passionate about using my specialist expertise and knowledge to provide a high level of client care with empathy, about leaving no stone unturned in my pursuit of justice and am committed to obtaining the best outcome for clients, whose injuries were caused by negligence.

A little about me

Outside of work, I enjoy travel, eating out, walks, dabbling with Art, and spending quality time with family and our pet dog.

My experience

I have over 23 years of post qualification experience, specialising as a Claimant Clinical Negligence Solicitor dealing with complex and catastrophic high value medical negligence claims. I joined Jackson Lees in 2025 and have previously been recognised by Legal 500 yearly from 2018-2025. Before training as a solicitor, I trained and qualified as a Registered General Nurse and nursed in Glasgow and London hospitals. I qualified as a Solicitor in 2001 and my intention was to specialise in medical negligence. My previous nursing career has provided me with additional medical knowledge, invaluable insight into medical processes and I believe it helps to facilitate a deeper understanding of client needs.
