How I can help you 

I am a Solicitor in the Civil Liberties team at Broudie Jackson Canter, with a primary specialism in Actions Against Public Authorities. I work across a broad range of public law and civil liberties matters involving the police and prison service. My work includes cases where state authorities have failed to meet their legal obligations. 

Whether resolving matters through negotiation or advancing complex civil claims, I work to secure strong results for my clients and to contribute to the wider protection of individual rights. 

A little about me 

I pursued a career in law to make a meaningful difference and to help people gain fair and effective access to justice. I am proud to work within a team nationally recognised for its strong record of holding the state to account and supporting individuals whose rights have been affected. 

The work is demanding yet deeply rewarding, and I am driven by the opportunity to create real and lasting impact.

Alongside my legal practice, I am committed to giving back to the community. I previously chaired the Charity Collective in our firm until 2023, and from November 2024 to March 2025, I led the MAPD Group team in the Hive Heroes fundraising project, helping to raise £5,000 in five months. 

I also served as Vice-Chair and Trustee of A Race For Justice between November 2020 and December 2023, a charity focused on educating the public about social attitudes towards race and discrimination. 

My experience 

In 2020, I graduated with a First-Class Bachelor of Laws degree followed by the Legal Practice Course and Master of Laws with Distinction in 2021. After my studies, I worked in the legal department of a charity advocating for young people, before joining Broudie Jackson Canter in August 2021. 

In 2022, I was honoured by the Merseyside Junior Lawyers Division at their Annual Awards, receiving the Care in the Community Award. This recognition reflected my commitment to community engagement early in my career. In the same year, our firm was recognised with the Support to Rising Talent Award.
