I am a Costs Draftsman in the Billing Department. My day-to-day work currently involves preparing a Bill of Costs on settled cases and Statement of Costs for Joint Settlement Meetings. I have experience in drafting bills for a range of case types, preparing Points of Reply and settlement advice for Client’s. 

A little about me

In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my daughter and Partner. Our favourite weekend activity is to go for an early morning walk through Formby Pinewoods or at Crosby Beach followed by a big breakfast. I do go to the gym in spare my time, however, I cannot say I actually enjoy this! I also enjoy travelling and going to concerts. My biggest drive at the moment is to try give my pre-teen daughter as many amazing experiences as I can whilst she still wants to spend time with her parents. 

My experience

I have worked in costs since May 2010 starting in admin before training to become a Costs Draftsman in May 2013. I have been exposed to a large variety or cases throughout the years which has given me a broad understanding of a variety of case types including clinical negligence, high value RTA’s, mesothelioma & disease claims, housing disrepair, possession matters and Court of Protection. I enjoy building relationships with Client’s and working hard to turn around work in a timely manner and to a high standard.
