What Do We Need?
We’re looking for a dedicated Family Paralegal to join our team in Liverpool. You’ll play an important part in delivering a professional, responsive, and high‑quality service to clients, ensuring compliance with firm standards and regulatory requirements.
In this role, you’ll support the team across a range of family law matters, combining strong organisational skills with a compassionate and professional approach.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate and well‑organised case management systems, ensuring documents are easily accessible for the team.
- Assist with preparing routine or basic legal documents for Lawyer approval.
- Provide an element of chargeable legal services under supervision.
- Conduct research, draft documentation, liaise with clients and third parties, and support Lawyers in providing excellent client care.
- Ensure full compliance with firm policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, including those set by the Solicitors Regulation Authority.
- Contribute to effective risk management through regular assessments, good file handling, and maintaining high standards of client service.
- Carry out general administrative and team support duties as required.
What We're Looking For?
- A minimum of 12 months’ experience as a Paralegal within a Family Law team is desirable.
- Ability to draft basic legal documents and prepare bundles for hearings.
- Familiarity with case management systems and effective file organisation.
- Strong client communication skills and experience liaising with third parties.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in document preparation.
- Strong organisational and time management skills to handle multiple cases.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Empathy and professionalism when dealing with sensitive family matters.
- Proficient IT skills, including Microsoft Office and case management software.
