Trainee Immigration Caseworker
How can I help you?

I’m a Trainee Immigration Caseworker in the Asylum team. My daily work involves opening files for prospective clients, carrying out legal research, and drafting witness statements to assist solicitors working on asylum claims and appeals. My work is rewarding as I find there is purpose to it; every witness statement I draft is a step closer to securing refugee status for a client.

A little about me

In my free time I enjoy reading about politics and international relations to enrich my knowledge on the changing state of affairs in the world. I speak Arabic and Spanish, and aim to learn more languages, as this is a passion of mine. Being both bilingual and Middle Eastern provides me with the linguistic and cultural background to better understand and build a rapport with clients. I am passionate about promoting justice.

My experience

In July 2024 I graduated with a First-Class Law degree from the University of Liverpool, where I also worked in the Law Clinic interpreting for clients and carrying out casework for Immigration solicitors. A month after graduating, I began working at Broudie Jackson Canter as a Covid Inquiry paralegal before moving to the Immigration team in April 2025. I am accredited at Level 1 of the Law Society’s Immigration and Asylum Accreditation Scheme.
