I am a Team Leader working on the Covid Inquiry. Our team help to scrutinise the evidence on behalf of our clients the Covid Bereaved Families for Justice UK. The Inquiry is the largest in British history, running from 2022 to 2026, and separated into ten distinct modules, exploring everything from Covid-19’s impact on hospitals, to the inadequacy of government decision-making, and the wider impact on society.
A little about me
I can go home happy at the end of the day if I’ve done something to make someone else’s life just that little bit easier. I’ve been incredibly proud of the work our team has done to make sure the Inquiry listens to the voices of those most affected by the impact of the pandemic. Outside work, I am keen to pursue a number of other social justice causes and share my enthusiasm for change.
My experience
I graduated from the University of Liverpool in 2021 with a degree in Philosophy, Politics and Economics. This year, I am starting a three-year Graduate Solicitor Apprenticeship with the College of Legal Practice - the beginning of my journey to become a qualified solicitor. Having worked at Broudie Jackson Canter since 2023, I’m incredibly grateful to have worked alongside so many colleagues dedicated to making a positive difference.
