How can I help you?

As a paralegal, I am one of the first points of contact for new family clients and I interact with clients both in person and over the phone. As well as offering services to clients, my main role is supporting solicitors in running their cases.

My main focus is public law, although I also have experience in private children’s cases. I help to manage the progression of cases whilst dealing with client queries, providing regular updates and providing assistance in any way I can.

My day-to-day tasks can see me supporting a client in court, assisting with Legal Aid funding and other administrative tasks.

A little about me

I am dedicated to making a positive difference to our clients in what can be one of the most stressful times in their lives. I like to establish strong relationships and to be there for our clients from the start of an enquiry until the very end of the case. I strive to get the best possible outcome for each of our clients and find it extremely rewarding to be part of a team that helps in every way that we can.

It is a privilege to be involved in a process whereby children can be returned to the care of their families – I take great pride in knowing that we do our best to ensure that families have the best possible foundation for the future.

My Experience

I graduated with a 2:1 in LLB law in 2021 before going on to work as a legal administrator in another large firm, where I gained valuable experience in a range of areas of law including family, employment and conveyancing.

This provided me with insight and a working knowledge of the different areas, which has served me well since I joined Broudie Jackson Canter as a Paralegal in September 2022.

I am currently studying towards my Solicitors Qualifying Examinations in my spare time and hope to qualify in 2024. I look forward to continuing my work in the family sector whilst on my journey towards qualification.
