What do we need?

We’re looking for a motivated Paralegal to join our Wills, Trusts & Probate team in Liverpool. If you have experience in wills, trusts, and probate, strong organisational skills, and a passion for supporting clients through important and sensitive matters, we’d love to hear from you. Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain up-to-date case management systems and assist with document management.
  • Prepare routine legal documents such as draft Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney, Probate applications, and letters of advice for approval.
  • Provide chargeable legal services to support the team.
  • Assist on cases by conducting research, drafting letters and documentation, liaising with clients and third parties, and providing first-rate legal advice.
  • Ensure compliance with firm policies and regulatory requirements (e.g., Solicitors Regulation Authority).
  • Contribute to effective risk management through regular risk assessments, efficient file management, and excellent client care.
  • Perform any other duties as requested by fee earners, team leaders, or management.

What we are looking for:

  • Experience in Wills, Trusts & Probate (preferred).
  • Experience working towards chargeable hours targets.
  • Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to work well as part of a team in a fast-paced legal environment.
  • Proactive and able to use initiative in day-to-day tasks.
  • Competent IT and case management software skills.
  • Excellent client care and the ability to show empathy.
