Overall Purpose of the role:
To provide first rate legal services to our clients according to their specific needs, ensuring full compliance with policies and procedures laid out by the group and by regulatory bodies. To act as an ambassador for the group at all times, actively promoting its services.
Key Accountabilities:
- To charge the rate defined by the Management Board / Head of Department for services.
- To actively promote the firm and all its services to attract new business using all appropriate means i.e., marketing, social media, etc.
- Manage own caseload as well as providing support and guidance to the team
- Conduct regular appraisals/one 2 one’s/roadmaps with team/dea with performance management issues
- Support Head of Department with any people management issues as and when needed
- To actively participate in departmental meetings, suggesting improvements to our services where appropriate.
- Join with team leader meetings with Deputy Heads and Head of Department to discuss department issues/developments/progress
- To supervise and mentor less experienced members of the team.
- To avoid write-offs as far as possible and to disclose them immediately if they are necessary.
- To disclose any claims and complaints or potential complaints promptly.
Key Experiences:
- 5+ years PQE
- Be an experienced practitioner and able to deal with a wide range of Wills, Trusts, and Probate matters.
- Ability to work as a team
- Marketing and commercial awareness
