This week, to celebrate one year of the Jackson Lees Training Academy, it's LearnFest! We asked some of our people questions about learning. Here's what Haley Farrell, Head of our Public Family department, had to say about our Mentoring Scheme:

The mentoring scheme was created to encourage the personal development of our people and to help them become the best version of themselves. We have so much talent in our business - and we want to invest in and nurture that talent.

The scheme is now in its third year, and is growing every year, going from strength to strength. We are really proud of the scheme and everyone who has and is taking part in it. We have mentors and mentees across every office, and I am lucky to work alongside a fab team who are committed to looking after our mentees and mentors.

Our mentors cover every area and level of the business including the senior leadership team.

I have been very fortunate to have a great mentor, who has helped me to grow personally and professionally. So I know first-hand the benefits of being a mentee!

As a mentor I have also been very lucky to have some amazing mentees over the past few years and I have learnt so much from them. It works both ways!

One thing I am certain of though, is that mentoring plays a huge part in learning!
