On Friday, Elkan Abrahamson will address an all-party parliamentary group (APPG) in Westminster who are meeting to discuss Hillsborough Law. The AAPG includes: Chair Alison McGovern MP, Sir Peter Bottomley MP, Derek Twigg MP and Louise Ellman MP. The purpose of the session is to generate momentum for the passing of the Bill designed to enact a law requiring a duty of candour of public authorities and public servants.

Ahead of the meeting, Elkan Abrahamson commented: “This is a further step in our campaign to promote Hillsborough Law across as wide a base of MP’s as possible. We are hoping for a constructive engagement with MP’s of all parties.”
