Overall Purpose of the role:
To provide first rate legal services to our clients according to their specific needs, ensuring full compliance with policies and procedures laid out by the group and by regulatory bodies. To act as an ambassador for the group at all times, actively promoting its services.
Key accountabilities:
Updating and maintaining the case management system/spreadsheets/calendars ensuring all information is kept up to date
Completing office based tasks such as photocopying, file management, preparing Court Bundles, faxing, filing papers physically and electronically on to Client files and managing the stationary needs of the department.
Covering reception on both telephone and meeting Clients face to face as first point of contact
Hand delivering post, DX deliveries and deliveries between offices
Working under the supervision of senior members of the immigration team
To continue to train, develop and enhance knowledge and expertise of immigration and asylum law
Able to work towards deadlines
What do you need:
Administration experience is desirable
Demonstrable commitment to and passion for a career in immigration law
Good communication skills both orally and in writing
Excellent organizational and case management skills
Ability to work within strict deadlines
