Overview

It recently came to light that earlier in 2025, the UK’s Legal Aid Agency (LAA) suffered a major cyber-attack. This attack resulted in a data breach that exposed the personal information of millions of legal aid applicants in the UK, with records going back as far as 2007.

The Ministry of Justice have explained the compromised data may include:

  • Names, addresses and contact details
  • Dates of birth and national insurance numbers
  • Financial details (contributions, payments, debts)
  • Criminal history and employment information
  • In some cases, details about a partner or family member

We’re seeking compensation on behalf of those who were impacted and instructing us is quick and easy.
