I work with individuals and bereaved families during the most challenging time of their lives. I specialise in representing families in Article 2 inquest proceedings when the State is involved. I also represent clients bringing complaints and civil claims and against the police or prison.
A little bit about me
I am passionate about representing bereaved families and vulnerable individuals . I obtained my undergraduate degree in Law with Honours in 2018. I also obtained a Masters in International Human Rights Law in 2019 from the University of Liverpool and Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Practice in 2021.
I am a member of the INQUEST Lawyers Group and Police Action Lawyers Group. I was previously the National and Careers and Education representative for Merseyside Junior Lawyers Division.
My experience
I joined Jackson Lees Group as a Paralegal in 2019 and completed my training contract qualifying as a Solicitor in March 2024. My experience is primarily in relation to cases when individuals' rights have been violated by the State. I have worked on many inquests where the deceased has died following police contact, in prison, or when in mental health detention.
