I am a paralegal based in the Wills, Trusts & Probate Department. My role predominately consists of drafting Wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney as well as assisting in the day-to-day running of Trusts and administration of Estates.
A little bit about me
Given the nature of the work I carry out, more often than not, clients are already going through a somewhat hard time in their life whether that be through losing a loved one or navigating their way through that situation for when that time comes for themselves. I hope to make the process as stress-free as possible, whilst also providing a friendly, professional service to relieve them of the pressure that comes along with that.
For many people, this will be their first experience dealing with solicitors and so my aim is to make their experience as less daunting as it may initially seem.
I am passionate about the work that I do and that is why I am part of the Charity Committee here at Jackson Lees. I am involved in arranging events to raise money and awareness for our 3 Foundation Trusts.
My experience
Having graduated as a Bachelor of Law in 2018, I then completed the Legal Practice Course in 2022 in preparation for my training in becoming a Solicitor.
Previous to working in Private Client, I used to work in Clinical Negligence which has given me the skillset I have today to deal with emotional and vulnerable clients.
