I specialise in representing bereaved families at inquests into deaths following contact with the police or as the result of failings by state agencies.
I can guide you through the inquest process and ensure that you are placed at the heart of the proceedings. I am also experienced at bringing claims for compensation on behalf of families arising out of the deaths of their loved ones.
A little about me
I joined Broudie Jackson Canter in November 2021 as a newly qualified solicitor, having completed my training at Hodge Jones & Allen Solicitors. Prior to this, I worked as a paralegal in the Civil Liberties team at Hodge Jones & Allen and the Public Law and Human Rights team at Irwin Mitchell LLP.
I am a member of the INQUEST Lawyers’ Group and the Police Action Lawyers’ Group (PALG). Between 2019 and 2021 I was the co-chair of Young Legal Aid Lawyers (YLAL).
I am strongly committed to enabling meaningful access to justice for all, regardless of ability to pay.
