Associate Director & Deputy Head of Court of Protection
How can I help you?

I am passionate about empowering people to live the best lives possible. I will always go the extra mile in understanding my client’s wants and needs and working together to meet their goals. I don’t shy away from a challenge!

A little about me

I am a fitness enthusiast and very keen on sports related charity work. I have ran a number of half marathons and undertook a 60 mile bike ride, raising money for local and national causes – particularly brain injury charities. It makes me proud to be able to give back to the field that I am so passionate about and provide much needed funding/support to clients like mine.

My experience

I have worked in Court of Protection since I qualified as a solicitor in Spring 2014 and it is unlike any other area of law, it is very much a calling, not just a job. I love dealing with complex matters and enabling the best resolution for the client. I trained with Jane MacGregor for four years and then worked in Manchester before returning to Jane and Jackson Lees in February 2020. When I worked for a COP firm in Manchester, I was mentioned in the Legal 500 as a “key lawyer” and called “absolutely outstanding.”

In 2022 I became one of the Directors of Jackson Lees Trust Corporation Limited, before becoming the Deputy Head of Court of Protection in January 2023.

Client Testimonials

We would also like to take this opportunity to thank you for your very considerable support and expertise in dealing with this matter. As you are aware this is a very difficult client who has very set ways in terms of how he is communicated with and this can create challenges as his personal communication style is to ask a lot of complex questions but not be able to process the complex answers required. Having raised this in advance of your first meeting with the client, your approach to him has been truly exceptional in making what appeared to be a very difficult process look very easy indeed. The continued support that you have provided to the client’s family and for his case manager and the rest of the rehabilitation team has ensured that this very challenging case has been managed in a sensible balanced and supportive way throughout. We thank you for the approach taken throughout and look forward to working together with you in the future.
