How can I help you?

I help clients with a variety of corporate law matters that might arise during the life of a business. These range from general queries on the rules of running a business to complex restructures, from starting up a new business to selling companies when the owners are ready to say farewell. Sometimes businesses need help with finance arrangements: perhaps they’re re-banking or taking on a new investment partner or maybe the current owners are investing more money – each of these might require legal support.

A little about me

The best bit about my job is successfully delivering a client’s goal: the legal knowledge is only the means to achieve that, not the driving force. I therefore take the time to understand the client’s motivations and the reasons behind the planned transaction so that we can work together to achieve the desired end.

My experience

I qualified as a solicitor in 2006 and worked in Lancashire practices until joining Jackson Lees in 2021. I’ve acted for all sorts of businesses in all sorts of sectors over the years, most of them SMEs. Way back in 2011 I won the Young Dealmaker of the Year award at the Insider Magazine Lancashire Dealmaker Awards, after being shortlisted for the award in 2009 and 2010. In 2019 I was named as a recommended lawyer in the Legal 500.
