Pricing

Our fees for Motoring Offences

Our fees include VAT (where applicable):  

Plea Cost  Legal Work 
Guilty Plea £500 plus VAT Up to 2 hours preparation, consideration of evidence, advice and representation at one hearing. 

Guilty plea with special reasons / exceptional hardship argument 

£1000 plus VAT

Up to 4 hours preparation, consideration of evidence, advice, obtaining of evidence in support (not experts) and representation at 2 hearings. 

Not guilty plea and Trial  £1500 plus VAT Up to 5 hours preparation, consideration of evidence, advice, obtaining witness statements, any legal arguments, representation at trial, representation at up to 3 hearings if case adjourned and advice on appeal. 

These fixed fees do not include:

  • Cost of instructing experts
  • Costs of expert's reports
  • Costs of appeal (although advice on appeal against conviction or sentence will be given if we have represented you at the Magistrates Court)

Timescales:

The length of time that your case lasts is dependent on the court. A trial will tend to be listed within 3 months of you indicting that you will be pleading not guilty.
